Seven days, no questions

If this was not what you needed, write to [email protected] within seven days of paying and we refund the $49 in full.

You do not have to explain, justify, or return anything. You have explained enough this week. One line — "please refund" — and your receipt or the email address you paid with is enough.

How long it takes

We process refunds through Stripe as soon as we read the message, usually the same day. Your bank then takes five to ten business days to show it. That part is out of everyone's hands.

Why you can see everything first

Before any payment you read the full short obituary, the opening of the long one, your program rendered with your own names and photograph, and part of the slideshow. That is deliberate: nobody should be asked for money in this week on the strength of a promise.

If something broke

If the writing failed, the program will not print, or the video will not save, tell us before you ask for a refund — most of it we can fix in an hour, and you would rather have the thing than the money. But if you would rather have the money, that is fine too, and the seven days still apply.
